  • Design and Construction
    • Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements.
    • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings.
    • Participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations.
  • Water Resources Management
    • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
    • Prepare engineering designs and drawings.
    • Prepare project schedules.
  • Environmental Protection
    • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials.
    • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
    • Or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
