About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at ALLFREIGHT TRANSPORT LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your technical expertise to identify and repair problems with truck systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Estimate and Manage Costs: Accurately estimate the time and materials required for repairs and maintenance, and manage costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors and technicians, to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Document Work: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Language: Fluency in English
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week
