Job Summary

Cheskie's Bakery is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Baker to join our team. As a key member of our bakery staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays, and bake mixed dough and batters.
  • Decorating and Display: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet customer expectations.
  • Staff Training: Train staff members on new recipes, techniques, and equipment.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery, such as mixers and ovens, to ensure efficient production.
Personal Qualities
  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
