Key Responsibilities- Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in the school library or office, helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Help students individually or in small groups with assignments, reinforcing learning and retention concepts under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
- Perform other duties assigned by the school principal, ensuring the smooth operation of the school.
- Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities, promoting a safe and respectful environment.
- Monitor students during recess and lunch hour, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting, helping them to feel welcome and included.
- Assist with classroom inventory, ensuring that all materials and resources are organized and easily accessible.
- Monitor and report student progress to the classroom teacher, providing valuable insights and feedback.
- Assist the teacher in the operation of projectors, tape recorders, and other audio-visual or electronic equipment, ensuring that technology is used effectively to support learning.
- Criminal record check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
