Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Whifs Restaurant is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining high standards of quality and freshness.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare and submit reports, tracking key performance indicators and making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or kitchen management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to relocate.
