We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our IT Application Development and Infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in IT application development and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage IT Application Development and Infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery
* Define project objectives and measures to achieve project goals
* Develop and support innovative solutions to meet business needs
* Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures
* Act as a communications conduit to business stakeholders
* Define and be accountable for project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and project management plan
* Provide project management direction and guidance to project teams
* Ensure project delivery meets standards and best practices
* Establish performance measures for project members
* Monitor budget and initiate corrective actions
* Monitor and respond to issues, risks, and decisions
* Manage project resources in collaboration with functional managers
* Provide regular status updates to sponsors and stakeholders

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or analytical discipline
* 7-10 years of project management experience in IT application development and infrastructure projects
* Robust project management knowledge, practical technical knowledge, and strong business management skills
* Ability to influence without authority
* Strong ability to inspire others to build high-performance teams
* Exemplary communications skills
* Experience with handling steering committee meetings and presenting status to project sponsors
* Experienced in creating SOW and managing vendors
* Excellent foundational skills in project management and planning
* Strong understanding of technology concepts
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset
* Certified Scrum Master designation is an asset
* Guidewire product knowledge is an asset
* SAP product knowledge is an asset
