Job Title: Senior Detail Designer

The Senior Detail Designer is a key member of our team, responsible for leading the development of 3D models and Manufacturing Information (MI) for our shipbuilding projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of detail designers to produce integrated 3D models and MI
  • Develop and implement design processes and standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design integration and quality
  • Manage budgets and schedules for design projects
  • Ensure compliance with Class requirements and international ship design standards
Requirements:
  • Marine Engineering degree in Structure, Mechanical/Piping/HVAC, Electrical, Outfitting & Joinery, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of ship design experience, including leading and coordinating diverse multicultural design teams
  • Strong discipline and technical knowledge, including CAD software and document control systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
