Job Title: Woodworking Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team at 3D Custom Cabinets Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various woodworking machines to fabricate and repair wooden parts for furniture and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products using various woodworking machines.
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Replace parts as required to ensure smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience with woodworking machines and equipment, including drills, gluing machines, planers, sanders, and saws.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a woodworking or cabinetmaking environment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
