As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our efficient and safe manufacturing process. You'll work alongside a team of skilled professionals, utilizing your physical stamina and attention to detail to contribute to the success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks within the manufacturing facility, including shoveling, lifting, carrying boards and debris, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Rotate through different job responsibilities to gain diverse experience and contribute to overall production efficiency.
- Adhere to schedules and maintain production timeliness while ensuring accuracy and precision in your work.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to your supervisor.
- Contribute to a safe work environment for yourself, colleagues, customers, and site visitors.
- Operate the chip truck during holiday and relief coverage periods, requiring a valid Class 1 driver's license with B-Train experience.
Qualifications:
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, shoveling, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with machinery and equipment is an asset but not mandatory.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of urgency in completing tasks.
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License with B-Train experience.
