The Cashier role at PTA Fuel Incorporation is essential for ensuring a smooth transaction process and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a friendly demeanor.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Will train
- Willing to relocate
- Retail business setting
- Operate the cash register efficiently
- Process various forms of payment including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards
- Scan items accurately
- Calculate total payments for goods or services
- Receive payments and issue receipts
- Reconcile daily payments with total sales
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area
- Stock shelves as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with self-checkout
- Verify customer age for restricted items such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco
- Completion of a criminal record check is required
- Must be a team player
- Employment Duration: Permanent
- Language of Work: English
- Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
