Job Title: Pediatric Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition, you will provide clinical care, education, and participate in research activities.

About the Role:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to pediatric patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research programs in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology
  • Participate in education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

BC Children's Hospital is a leading pediatric hospital in Canada, providing care to the province's most acutely ill or injured children and youth. Our hospital is a program of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), which plans, manages, and evaluates specialty and province-wide health care services across BC.

Requirements:
  • Eligibility to obtain a specialist license to practice medicine in British Columbia
  • Sub-specialty training in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology
  • Experience in pediatric liver transplantation is an asset
  • Strong clinical and research skills, with a commitment to academic excellence
