This position reports to the Director, IT Enterprise Apps, Sales and Supply Chain Management and is a 12-18 month term.

  • Act as a liaison between IT and our business partners to uphold a clear understanding of business requirements and to ensure functional deliverables align with the stakeholder needs.
  • Own the solution design and work with IT partners to meet business needs.
  • Define functional requirements for application development efforts and facilitate definition of project scope, goals and deliverables for application development vendors.
  • Oversee and review testing plans and outcomes to validate proposed solution meets intent and is appropriate in response to business demand for change.
  • 2-4 years practical experience in application solution design and analysis and a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related equivalent.
  • Experience in functional solution design and delivery across a software development lifecycle considered an asset.
  • Familiar with AGILE methodologies and design-thinking approach to problem solving.
  • Experience working with SAP, IBP, AWS, Mainframe, Java, or.NET applications considered an asset.
  • Effective with creative solutioning and communication to influence and facilitate resolution of a problem/business issue.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team with both technical and non-technical staff.
