The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Transit Bus Drivers to join our team in Kitchener. As a Transit Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in connecting people with their destinations, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for all passengers.
Your Responsibilities
- Safely operate transit buses according to established routes and schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior and exterior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
Your Qualifications
- Possess a valid Class B or F driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory criminal record check and/or vulnerable sector screening.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Strong knowledge of the Kitchener area and surrounding routes.
- Availability for full-time shifts, Monday to Friday, between 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
