Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Corrado C Schembri. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help alleviate feelings of loneliness
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to support clients' dietary needs
  • Accompany clients on outings and provide transportation as needed
  • Perform other tasks as required to support clients' overall well-being
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis, but this is not a condition of employment.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in this role.

Hours:

30 to 44 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
