**Job Summary**
Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales and inventory management processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Accurately record customer transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy in cash handling and inventory management.
- Replenish merchandise and maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area.
- Follow up on hot selling items and complete markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
- Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Perform cycle counts and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Support the sales and inventory management processes, including receiving and processing shipments.
**Requirements**
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to lift and move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
