POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations and designated areas to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established protocols, which includes making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, sanitizing bathrooms, and disposing of waste.
  • Inform the supervisor upon completion of cleaning tasks to facilitate room availability for guests. Report any rooms that cannot be serviced to the supervisor as per guidelines.
  • Notify the supervisor of any required repairs or hazardous conditions encountered during cleaning.
  • Address guest inquiries and special requests promptly, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to guarantee complete guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and oversee housekeeping supplies and amenities, aiming to reduce waste in all areas.
  • Keep the linen cart and supplies organized and in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Ensure the security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued daily.
  • Document and report all lost and found items in compliance with established procedures.
  • Encourage collaboration and quality service through effective communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Occasionally assist with extensive cleaning projects as needed.
  • May be responsible for evening turndown services.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned, adhering to all Company and Brand Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping preferred.
  • Demonstrates a friendly demeanor and a commitment to hospitality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
