Job Title: Psychologist 2

Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled Psychologist 2 to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide a wide range of clinical services to children and youth presenting with a range of clinical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete psychological or forensic assessments, individual/group/family treatment, and consultation with internal and external systems.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams and provide consultation/supervision to students/staff as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral Degree (Ph. D or Psy. D) in Clinical Psychology from a CPA-accredited doctoral program, and completion of a CPA-accredited internship/residency.
  • Training and experience in clinical practice with children and youth with a wide range of emotional/mental health problems.
  • Registered (or Registerable) as a C. Psych. by the Psychological Association of Manitoba (supervision will be provided for individuals at the C. Psych. Candidate level until fully registered).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Interest/experience/training in providing treatment/assessment within a forensic setting.
