Risk Management Director

Join the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada as a Director - Risk Management (Bilingual) and contribute to the development of regulatory rules, policies, and guidelines for federally regulated financial institutions.
About the RoleAs a key member of the Risk Advisory Hub, you will be responsible for directing the analysis, formulation, interpretation, and promotion of regulatory rules, policies, and guidelines relating to regulatory capital, liquidity, and other related requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with financial institutions
- Lead a team of experts in analyzing emerging domestic and global risks
- Collaborate with cross-sector teams to develop and promote regulatory rules, policies, and guidelines
- Provide leadership and direction to staff on the application of capital, liquidity, and other related requirements
- Represent OSFI on international and domestic working groups, committees, or task forces
- Master's degree in business, commerce, economics, finance, mathematics, actuarial science, accounting, or other relevant field
- Significant experience in developing recommendations and writing reports or briefing notes regarding risks associated with financial institutions
- Experience in coaching, managing, or leading a team
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
