Meat Cutter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter Specialist to join our team at APNA Farm Halal Meat and Grocery. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of halal meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer demands
- Prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry, and fish products
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
- Weigh meats for sale and price meat products accurately
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
- Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets, and grind meats as needed
- Make special sausages and prepare special orders for customers
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to attract customers
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood for presentation
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Equivalent experience in a related field
You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure to meet customer demands. You must be able to stand for extended periods and have excellent hand-eye coordination.
