About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Skate Instructor. As a key member of our recreation and culture team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality skating programs to residents of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver memorable experiences to our customers through the instruction of skating programs
  • Demonstrate skating techniques to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities
  • Ensure equipment is in good working order and make minor adjustments as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service experiences
Requirements
  • Current Standard First Aid certification
  • High Five Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
  • Teaching/instructing experience and NCCP certification or other skate instructing courses are considered an assets
  • Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends at various North Vancouver Recreation & Culture locations
