About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at PK Hamilton Food inc. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
  • Dishwashing Operations: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Storage and Organization: Place dishes in storage areas in a neat and organized manner to ensure efficient use of space and minimize waste.
  • Hand Washing and Sanitizing: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand when necessary, adhering to our strict sanitation protocols.
  • Pot and Pan Scouring: Scour pots and pans to remove food residue and stains, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Training Provided: We offer on-the-job training for the right candidate, so no prior experience is necessary.
  • Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 32 hours per week.
