About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Prime Truck Repair Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial transport trucks to identify and repair or replace faulty parts and components.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues with truck systems, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on truck systems, including engine repair, transmission repair, and brake system repair.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy duty truck repair and maintenance
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems, including engine, transmission, and brake systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
