About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Structural Metal and Platework Fabricator to join our team at Venturo Glazing Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal structures and platework for our glazing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay Out and Pattern Development

You will be responsible for laying out reference points and patterns for metal structures, ensuring accuracy and precision in every detail.

Metal Fabrication

Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using a variety of metalworking techniques and tools.

Welding and Assembly

Weld or bolt sections together to create strong and durable metal structures.

Metalworking Machine Operation

Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as saws, drills, and grinders, to cut, shape, and finish metal components.

Pattern and Template Construction

Construct patterns and templates to ensure accurate and efficient metal fabrication.

Installation and Rigging

Install fabricated components in final products, and rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication is preferred.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Hours

40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
