Position Overview

Mosaic Seniors Care Society is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation
  • Maintain, establish, and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare and file tax returns
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Office
  • Experience with spreadsheet applications
Equipment Proficiency
  • Familiarity with scanners
Work Environment
  • Must be bondable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
