Job Title: School Bus Driver About the Role: As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Our team of professional drivers is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our students and their families. Key Responsibilities: * Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations * Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition * Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support and guidance as needed * Utilize our industry-leading technology to navigate daily routes and ensure timely arrivals Why Work with First Student? * We offer paid training for new drivers, so no experience is necessary * Additional hours are available through charter route opportunities * Our child ride-along program allows you to bring your own child along on your route * Enjoy a flexible schedule with no nights or weekends unless you choose Qualifications: * Good verbal communication skills * At least 21 years old * Valid driver's license for at least 1 year * Ability to undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks About First Student: First Student is a leading provider of school transportation services, operating in 460 locations across the US and Canada.
