About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Lubrication Technician to join our team at Canadian Tire #642. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, and tire repairs.
- Assist mechanics with more complex tasks and provide on-site services as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers and colleagues, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Previous experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
