Service Parts Coordinator

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Parts Planner to enhance our operations. This role involves working alongside the Parts Planning Lead to manage all aspects of service parts processes, including the assignment of essential attributes, establishment of stocking criteria, development of parts documentation, and assessment of engineering modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systematically assign attributes to all parts, including categorization, descriptions, specifications, dimensions, and other pertinent details into the company's Master Data systems for all service parts.
- Engage closely with the Product Support team to facilitate the effective setup of parts linked to Product Improvement Programs (PIPs) and Service Bulletins, vital for ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to execute parts planning strategies and accurately refresh part attribute data in alignment with engineering design alterations.
- Examine parts inventory data to uncover trends, demand patterns, slow-moving items, and excess stock, enabling informed decisions to optimize inventory levels.
- Proactively suggest and implement strategies to enhance inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for refining processes in parts planning and inventory management.
- Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Operations, to resolve parts-related issues and ensure effective communication and coordination across departments.
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of parts documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
