About the Role

Foilcon is seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Analyst to join our team. As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive business analysis services to our clients with diverse business and technological needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis: Provides a range of business analysis services, including gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interacts with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements and provide high-level and detailed estimates.
  • Business Case Development: Develops high-quality business cases, working with corporate governance bodies and navigating approvals.
  • Requirements Development: Documents deliverables, including functional and non-functional requirements, system requirements specifications, business requirements/rules, business process models, data requirements/models, risks, and issues.
  • Project Scoping and Estimation: Conducts feasibility analysis, project scoping, and provides project work estimates.
  • Requirements Elicitation and Validation: Develops requirements through requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation.
Requirements
  • Modeling and Methodologies: Demonstrated experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as waterfall and Agile methods, with a focus on iterative development and delivery.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in investigating, analyzing, and estimating system applications in a large integrated mainframe and mid-tier environment.
  • Business Analysis Skills: Experience with engaging business and IT stakeholders, understanding requirements for new functionality or changes to existing ones, and providing high-level and detailed estimates.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with excellent communication skills.
  • Business Subject Matter Knowledge and Expertise: Good understanding of program and service concepts, general and best practices, business processes and rules, stakeholders and relationships, service delivery models, private and public partnership, etc.
  • Public Sector Experience: Experience with Public Sector IT Solutions architecture, application design, quality assurance standards, and project delivery methodologies, and practices.
