Position Overview
We are in search of an Assistant Store Manager who will collaborate closely with the Store Manager as part of our vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee store operations, ensuring optimal business performance, superior customer service, and a positive company image.
- Propel the store towards achieving sales objectives while guiding the team to fulfill individual sales targets.
- Assist in enhancing the store's business potential and driving departmental sales in alignment with corporate strategy.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to mentor and develop retail associates, fostering their skills and supporting their career growth.
- Work alongside the Store Manager to ensure accurate data management in the sales staff's client records and propose actionable strategies.
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting and maintaining a talent pool of potential store associates.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff and new hires, ensuring effective onboarding and follow-up.
- Adhere to and enforce company standards and procedures.
- Provide exceptional service to all customers by upholding brand values and managing client relationships professionally.
- Execute operational tasks including store opening and closing, register management, and back-office procedures.
- Foster a workplace environment where all associates are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail management position.
- Strong team player with organizational awareness and adaptability.
- Proven ability to adjust to changing circumstances, with a solid understanding of product knowledge and brand philosophy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Availability for closing shifts at least 3 times a week, including 3 Saturdays and 2 Sundays per month, as well as during peak seasons.
- Ability to lift packages weighing 5-8 lbs. regularly and climb ladders as needed.
