About the Role

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher (HPE) to join our vibrant school community. This is a full-time, permanent position that will not only cover the remainder of the 2024 school year but also continue into 2025 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and engage students from Prep to Year 6 in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and respectful school culture.
  • Participate in professional learning and development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
