Your Challenge

What does a Yard Coordinator at Fourgons Transit do?

  • Supervise a team of 3 to 7 staff members across two shifts.
  • Train new team members effectively.
  • Oversee truck inspection processes and complete necessary transportation documentation.
  • Provide trucks to the installation and services departments within the required timeframe.
  • Collaborate with team leaders from installation, service, and logistics departments.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and work methods in outdoor settings.
  • Address various challenges that may disrupt daily operations.
  • Coordinate the movement of trucks within and outside the facility.
  • Manage inventory and warehouse operations.
  • Uphold order, cleanliness, and compliance in the yard area.
  • Welcome truck carriers, verify delivery accuracy, and assess product quality against purchase orders and ERP systems.
  • Strategically position trucks and boxes in the yard according to production schedules.
  • Ensure timely delivery of truck boxes and trucks to clients and carriers.
