At DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our The Shoe Co. banner. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive store environment that fosters exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Store Operations: Assume leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Drive Sales and Profitability: Facilitate achievement of business results by role modeling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty.
- Recruit and Develop Talent: Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes.
- Implement Business Plans: Develops and implements agile business plans to achieve results.
- Foster Teamwork: Fosters teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers.
- Educational Background: Relevant post-secondary education.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a progressive retail supervisory role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven success in the achievement of sales and profitability targets in large volume top doors.
- Team Player: Positive and energetic team player with a strong leadership capability.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer use, including e-mail, MS Word or other word processing program, and Excel or other spreadsheet programs.
- Availability: Ability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
