Senior Cost Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will provide cost estimating services to new and existing clients, working closely with our clients to understand their unique requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide cost estimating services to clients, including preparing estimates at various stages of the design process.
- Conduct needs analysis and develop solutions that meet client requirements.
- Prepare benchmarking reports for construction and development costs.
- Conduct tender analysis and cost reconciliation exercises.
- Prepare front-end cost reports to support cost estimates.
- Undertake and complete periodic site inspections and estimating reports.
- Assist in preparation of change order review analysis and lifecycle cost estimates.
- 5+ years of related experience in cost estimating.
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Intermediate level of understanding of construction estimates.
- General understanding of residential/ICI/civil projects.
- Experience working at a consulting firm (billable environment) is an asset.
- Member of RICS or LEED accreditation is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Sharepoint, Excel, Word, and measurement software.
- Working knowledge of CostX, Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Project is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of CIQS standard method of measurement – elemental/trade, Provincial lien act and Standard contract conditions – CCDC.
