POSITION SUMMARY

They are well-versed in the fundamentals of mixology and are always exploring new trends, local ingredients, and the evolving preferences of our guests. The role of a bartender transcends mere beverage preparation; it involves being a welcoming presence in the bar area. Bartenders utilize their skills and knowledge to ensure the bar operates smoothly and looks impeccable. They foster relationships with colleagues across the hotel, from housekeeping to the concierge, to anticipate and fulfill our guests' needs. A passion for delivering exceptional guest service is essential, along with a keen attention to detail—whether it’s managing cash flow, providing accurate information to guests, or ensuring precise reporting.
Regardless of your position, several key factors contribute to success: maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance, upholding confidentiality, and safeguarding company assets. As a bartender, you will be active and engaged, requiring the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and take a hands-on approach to your responsibilities (including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance). It is vital to have access to necessary items when needed (including reaching overhead and below the knees, as well as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Excelling in these tasks, along with any additional responsibilities that arise, forms the foundation of this role. Ultimately, the hallmark of the Bartender position is to deliver a premier guest experience, inspiring both guests and team members to embrace life’s discoveries.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None required.
The compensation range for this position is $22.26 to $24.73 per hour.
