We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Hospitalist to join our team at Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador. As a Veterinary Hospitalist, you will play a critical role in managing the ongoing care of our hospitalized patients, working closely with our emergency doctors and specialists to ensure comprehensive diagnostic and treatment planning.

• Manage the care of hospitalized patients, including developing and implementing treatment plans
• Collaborate with emergency doctors and specialists to ensure comprehensive care
• Communicate effectively with clients to support them and their pets
• Participate in multidisciplinary journal clubs and onsite continuing education events
• Contribute to a collegial and supportive environment that promotes high-quality patient care and excellent client experiences

• Completion of a rotating internship and/or experience in emergency and critical care
• Ability to become licensed in the province of Newfoundland
• Board Certification in Emergency and Critical Care is an asset
