Overview:

T-Net British Columbia is seeking a skilled Application Security Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the DevSecOps team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of their enterprise compliance solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security principles, development lifecycle, and hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Cloud technologies (AWS). You will be responsible for guiding penetration testing engagements, researching and reporting vulnerabilities, and collaborating with development, quality assurance, operation, and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement secure coding practices and standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in security with a strong understanding of security principles and development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Cloud technologies (AWS).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
