We are seeking a highly skilled Client Advisor, Agriculture Specialist to join our team at Acera Insurance Services Ltd. in Kelowna, Hardy. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with clients, insurance companies, and colleagues to provide exceptional service and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Process Equine renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and changes, as well as service new walk-in and phone-in business.
- Promote and recommend optimal coverage and additional products available to clients.
- Review existing client policies and market as necessary to ensure clients have the best possible coverage.
- Educate clients on their business risks and insurance coverage to ensure they understand their needs.
- Collect payments from clients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide an outstanding client service experience and support processes and procedures.
- Advocate for changes and additions to service plans that increase value for clients.
- Level 1 General Insurance License with the goal of obtaining your Level 2 License.
- Experience with EPIC, InsureView, and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- An intimate understanding of Equine-related risks, including disciplines and anatomy.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to create a positive and productive work environment.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
- A positive influence and ability to influence team members, especially during times of change.
