Job Summary

K-MOTORS LTD is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess and maintain a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Various locations, with a physically demanding work environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and attention to detail.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position with a work term of 40 to 60 hours per week. The work language is English.
