Canadian Linen & Uniform Service Corp., a leading provider of uniforms and related products, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Full-time employee.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair our power systems and mechanical equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, and will work closely with our maintenance team to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
  • Assist outside contractors with major repairs of systems and complex machinery
  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
  • Operate power tools and machine shop machinery (saws, drills, welders)
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments
  • Consult with supervisor and/or peer mechanics to resolve complex problems
  • Dismantle machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs, and reassemble and test after repair

Requirements

  • 4th Class Power Engineer license required
  • 2+ years of experience in similar positions in an industrial or manufacturing environment
