About the Role

We are looking for a qualified teacher who can create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood and elementary education, with a focus on creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Quebec Education Program (PFEQ) and promote student learning and development;
  • Teach students using a variety of instructional strategies, including lectures, discussions, presentations, and hands-on activities;
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs;
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in their child's education;
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education;
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field;
  • Valid teaching certification or qualification;
  • Experience in teaching early childhood and elementary education, an asset;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment.
