We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Ericson Manufacturing Inc. in the automotive manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • Have at least 2 years of experience in CNC machining
  • Work Setting
    • Work in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment
  • Tasks and Responsibilities
    • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
    • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance
    • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to precise tolerances
    • Verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers
    • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality parts
    • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
  • Measuring Tools and Equipment
    • Use micrometers, gauges, and verniers to measure parts and equipment
  • Technical Terminology and Skills
    • Have a strong understanding of engineering principles and terminology
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience
    • Experience with computer numerical control (CNC) machines and equipment
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Have a valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Have excellent attention to detail and physical stamina to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
