About the Role

As a Motor Vehicle Body Repairer at DEALER DIRECT CANADA LTD, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality repairs for our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining your workspace.
  • Replace Front End Components: Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • File, Grind, and Sand Body Surfaces: File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Mask and Tape Auto Body Surfaces: Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Hammer Out Dents and Defects: Use blocks and hammers to hammer out dents, buckles, and defects in body panels.
  • Remove and Replace Damaged Components: Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Apply Primers and Paint: Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a showroom finish.
  • Repair or Replace Interior Components: Repair or replace interior components, including seats, carpets, and trim.
  • Repair or Replace Damaged Windows and Glass: Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Mix Paint and Match Colors: Mix paint and blend colors to match the original finish.
  • Operate Soldering Equipment: Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
  • Straighten Bent Frames: Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
