About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Aviva. As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by facilitating effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influence project outcomes by providing guidance and support to team members.
- Prepare and present sprint reports and status updates to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project partners.
- Facilitate Scrum meetings, Scrum of Scums, retrospectives, and other Agile framework meetings.
- Ensure compliance with the Aviva Change Framework across the project.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure timely progress.
- Identify and report risks and issues to senior leadership.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in leading complex technology initiatives.
- Proven expertise in Agile project management.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT delivery and business acumen in general insurance.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with vendors and system integrators.
- Background in pricing and data science is a plus.
