Payroll and Accounting Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll & Accounting Coordinator to join our team at PCI Pharma Services. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for processing payroll transactions, managing employee benefits, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll transactions using Workday payroll system
- Collaborate with HR to ensure payroll is processed accurately biweekly
- Manage employee enrollments, changes, and terminations in the benefit program
- Update payroll account mappings to ensure accurate GL coding
- Prepare monthly payroll analysis reports to explain variances
- Work with payroll vendor for T4 balancing and dispatching T4 to employees
- Assist with year-end audit for payroll inquiries
- Perform testing and validation for Workday changes
- File annual WSIB returns with relevant authorities
- Communicate with CRA on payroll remittances issues and queries
- Post-secondary education
- Previous payroll experience with Workday is preferred
- Accounting experience in the pharmaceutical or packaged goods industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask
- Strong team player with sound accounting knowledge
