Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at Overhead Door Corporation. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for performing all warehouse duties, including maintaining inventory controls, processing incoming and outgoing materials, and conducting inventory checks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Process incoming and outgoing materials, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Perform a variety of material movement tasks, including order filling, receiving, and loading/unloading.
  • Follow established processes to ensure error-free shipping and receiving.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work effectively with hand tools, electric tools, and ladders.
  • Interact regularly with warehouse staff, construction project managers, customers, other trades, and safety personnel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a relevant trade, such as construction, welding, millwright, or electrical, is preferred.
  • Exposure to a warehouse environment is beneficial.
  • Some experience with customer service is an asset.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Any relevant safety training or tickets are preferred or willingness to obtain (WHMIS, Fall protection, First Aid, etc.).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements, including drug, alcohol, and health assessment.
