We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Elementary Education Specialist to join our team at Commission Scolaire Central Quebec / Central Quebec School Board. As an Elementary Education Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging educational activities for students, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Curriculum Development: Design and deliver courses and educational activities tailored to individual student needs, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive learning experience.
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a secure and engaging learning environment, promoting student participation and motivation.
• Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, adjusting the pedagogical approach as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
• Parent Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and challenges.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with school staff to provide personalized support to students, contributing to a cohesive and supportive learning community.
• Extra-Curricular Activities: Coordinate and lead extra-curricular activities and work placements to enrich the learning experience and promote student development.
• Mentorship and Support: Provide targeted academic support and mentorship to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
• Student Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your responsibility, maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Reporting and Communication: Communicate student progress and results to principals and parents in accordance with established protocols.
• Professional Development: Participate in pedagogical meetings and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in education.
