Raider Logistics is seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our growing team.

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across long distances. You will work as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, providing updates on cargo status and location.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo by properly tarping and securing loads.
Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating commercial trucks is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
Working Conditions

This position requires extended periods of time on the road. You will work in various weather conditions and may be required to travel overnight.
