Position Summary

The Server and Datacenter Operations Analyst will oversee the daily operational support of our on-premises and cloud-based server environments. This role entails monitoring and managing systems such as Active Directory, Citrix, VMWare, Azure, and Oracle Clouds, along with Windows and Linux servers, storage solutions, printing services, backup, and disaster recovery protocols. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with various functional teams and IT partners to meet project goals and deliverables, ensuring high-quality service to our clients. A passion for technology and a commitment to service excellence are essential. The position requires flexibility to handle diverse tasks and requests, including providing global support for enterprise servers and related services, which may involve working outside standard business hours. A hybrid work model is available, combining on-site and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Certificates, Citrix, VMWare, Veeam, Nimble, HPE Servers, Azure, and Oracle Clouds.
  • Conduct troubleshooting to identify vulnerabilities and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Analyze server performance and generate regular reports highlighting critical issues.
  • Manage daily ticketing operations.
  • Proactively monitor infrastructure conditions to swiftly address issues and outages.
  • Assist in deploying, maintaining, and updating infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Citrix, VMWare, Veeam, and Nimble servers.
  • Support the overall ITIL Roadmap strategy for the organization.
  • Adhere to detailed documentation, standards, and guidelines for all supported technologies.
  • Implement corrective actions to enhance system performance and travel to remote locations as necessary.
  • Engage in team meetings and strategy discussions as required.
  • Participate in the 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, Azure Administrator preferred; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with the following technologies:
    • Windows Server 2008 and later
    • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, Certificates, IIS
    • Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Netscaler, or other load balancers
    • Nimble or other enterprise-class storage solutions, iSCSI
    • VMWare ESXi, vCenter
    • VEEAM or other enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
    • Azure SSO or other SAML-based SSO solutions
    • Azure cloud services
  • Experience with multi-datacenter and multi-site infrastructure utilizing site-to-site replication.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting networking issues and understanding network protocols and routing.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, VBScript, Python, or other scripting languages.

  • Willingness to perform after-hours work for scheduled maintenance and urgent issue resolution.
