Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced setting, primarily within a large restaurant and hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare meats for processing by cleaning and cutting
  • Handle carcasses, sides, and quarters with precision
  • Fulfill special meat orders from customers
  • Trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Package and wrap prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from various meat cuts
  • Oversee and mentor other butchers and meat cutters
  • Train new meat cutters in best practices
  • Slice cooked meats for service
Physical Demands

This role requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads, making it physically demanding.
