Transformative Data Engineer Role at Intelcom

Intelcom, a leading last-mile carrier in the e-commerce sector, is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join its team. As a Data Engineer at Intelcom, you will play a pivotal role in developing a modern and scalable data platform based on cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain databases and data warehouses to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement data modeling and database design best practices.
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient ETL processes.
  • Implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness through data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, end-users, and data scientists to understand data requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective BI solutions.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of BI systems, proactively addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Document BI processes, data models, data engineering processes, database structures, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development and data analysis.
  • 4+ years of experience in SQL, with a strong understanding of database management.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python for data transformation and analysis.
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools, data warehousing methodologies, and cloud technologies.
